25 Years of providing support to Autistic individuals in our community!
“Continuously Working to Provide Support to Local Autistic Individuals”
Community Champions of the Week: The D’Eliseo family
We are thankful and grateful for our recent donation from the Howard Gardner MI Charter School.
Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence Charter School provides an approach to Kindergarten through Eighth grade education that cultivates the potential of each student through the development of their Multiple Intelligences (MI). By focusing on project-based experiences and real-world applications of knowledge, we aim to empower our young people to become independent, self-directed learners, who proactively problem-solve to positively change the world.
Earthly Angels Donates to CAMPEMERGE.
A camp for families touched by Autism.
Brenda, Robert and I had the privilege today to visit CampEmerge at the Camp Victory location in Millville. It is a camp for kids with special needs, including autism, that our Earthly Angels Autism Fund donates to annually. We were very impressed with the facility and the wonderful and caring staff. Children and parents spend a weekend of fun-filled activities and provides a place of respite for these families. We will continue to fund this worthy cause with the generous help of many donations that we receive. This is CampEmerge’s 25th anniversary. Mr. Jerry Stropnicky started this camp in 2000 and is still going strong. What a blessing for the community. Robert D did his first zipline while visiting camp today, he had a blast!
About Earthly Angels
The Earthly Angels Autism Fund of the Luzerne Foundation is dedicated to helping local children afflicted with autism. We are not a support group to say, but a group that works very hard on fundraisers to raise money which allows us to offer grants to 501c Non-profit organizations that provide services to autistic individuals.
Our mission is to:
- proactively increase autism awareness
- provide funding to qualified nonprofit organizations for autistic services
- bring hope to those families who deal with the hardships of this disorder
Since inception, 2001, the Earthly Angels Autism Fund of the Luzerne Foundation has donated in excess of $250,000 to local non-profit organizations, which provide support and services to autistic individuals in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Our free informational web site is run by volunteers. It is not affiliated with any service provider. We try to provide accurate and up-to-date information on the autism spectrum disorder. We believe that an educated parent is best able to advocate for his or her child.
Early intervention can make a lifetime of difference!
